Jesus
Is all that we have worth as much as the kingdom of heaven?
No. The kingdom of heaven is worth more than the whole world.
Did anyone know it was there?
No
What did the merchant do when he found the pearl?
He sold everything he had to get enough money to buy it.

What is so wonderful about the kingdom of heaven?
God is there!
What did the man do when he found it?
he covered it back up, went and sold everything he had and bought the field that contained the treasure)
How is the parable of the pearl different from the parable of the treasure?
The merchant was looking for the pearl. The man wasn't looking for the treasure.
