• Replaces giving attention to the negative behaviors that a child is engaging in

• Increases the likelihood to a child engaging in positive behaviors in the long run

• Social Reinforcers - Parent approval such as a smile, hug, & praise. 

• Token Reinforcers - Items given to your child that can be exchanged for more valuable reinforcers
