Pick To Light is an automated system that is used to pick orders in a warehouse environment. This can be set up in any number of physical structures in the warehouse. How do you ensure quality?

Quality is ensured through a comprehensive Quality Management Program that includes awareness throughout the organization, clearly defined roles with written job descriptions and training, written procedures, quality control and quality assurance processes in all areas of the business, and accountability through periodic reviews of performance.

Quality of service is our most important objective in achieving corporate goals. To support that effort, Knipper maintains a separate Quality Assurance Department, which oversees the development, implementation and change control of all quality processes and procedures.

Our quality system is based on the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place to ensure operational compliance with cGMPs and that the steps critical to the quality output of each process are checked. Our Quality System is documented on three levels:

•The Quality Manual
•Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): how operations in key functional areas are performed to comply with cGMPs and assure prevention of mix-ups and non-conforming or problem processes
•Other quality documents: client-specific SOPs, work orders, cell sheets, inventory and transactions reports, business rule documents, forms, logs and other requests
