This is when the KPREP test for this year begins.
What is May 13th
Each test is broken into this many parts which are given separately.
What is 2 (part Anad part B)?
It's the first thing any Good Patriot must do in order to do well on the test.
What is show up? Be in attendance and don't be late.
Using these on the test will help you do well - use them just like your teachers have taught you.
What are strategies?
This is when Good Faith Effort rewards for KPREP will be awarded.
What is Fun Day?
These are the two subjects that 3rd graders are tested in.
What is reading & math?
Students will have only a certain amount of this to complete each test.
What is time?
Doing this the night before the test will help you be sure you are alert and ready to give your best performance.
What is getting a good's night's sleep?
For questions that require a reading passage, do this first before reading the passage.
What is read the questions first? (think PVR)
Identifying these key words in a question can help you understand how to answer the question.
What is key vocabulary?
The grade level that tests in reading, math, and science.
What is 4th grade?
The time limit for completing a single part of the KPREP test can range from a much as 90 minutes to as little as this much time.
What is 35 minutes?
It's hard to think on an empty stommache, so be sure to do this the morning of the test.
What is eat a good breakfast?
It is important to pace yourself so that you can answer all of the questions without running out of this.
What is time?
When taking the Look out for these, they can trip you up. (Words like not, only, best, none, or all of the above for example)
What are trick words?
Our 5th graders test in reading, math, and these two additional subjects.
What are social studies and writing?
This is when KPREP scoresa re typically released to the public.
What is September or October?
Encouraging students to do this will not only improve their chances of performing well on the test, but also help them to earn rewards on Fun Day.
What is give a Good Faith Effort?
If you finish your test before time is up, be sure to look back over your answers for accuracy and to be sure you did not do this.
What is leave any quaestions blank?
This performace rating means that a student has performed as expected for his or her grade level.

This is what KPREP stands for.
What is Kentucky Performance Rating for Educational Progress?
From lowest to highest performance, these are the performance rating for students who take the KPREP test.
What are Novice, Apprentice, Proficient, & Distinguished?
Relax! You and your teachers have worked hard to prepare for the test and doing this will only stress you out and keep you from doing your best.
What is panic?
On a multiple choice test it is helpful to start by eliminating these.
