You should walk with alertness, slowly, carefully, carrying any item upright with care, be cautious of other people even if you aren’t carrying anything.

Clean it up right away with the proper materials.

Stop, drop, and roll, and if that doesn’t work use a fire blanket or extinguisher.
Should you every put cold water on any heated glassware, and what will it do?
No, it may shatter

Always carry with the sharp edges pointing away from you, cut away from your body, and never catch a falling object by the sharp part, and carry all sharp items by the handle.

After you have washed your hands thoroughly.

Grasp the plug, not the cord when you pull it out from the socket.
