History?
The Lambda Sigma sorority was founded in 1937 as an honorary group of the phi delta sigma fraternity, and we were called the "little sisters". In 1941, the Little Sisters gained a constitution and were renamed Lambda Sigma, making them the oldest female social group at Bethel. Lambda Sigma stands for the "L" and the "S" because we are the Little Sisters of Phi Delta Sigma Fraternity
