Do you have scholarships?
The Foundation Scholarship is only offered to high school students in our local area. It is due in Spring (usually April) and pays out $1400 for 2 semesters ($700 each semester). You must have a 2.0, or 2.5 once enrolled at LCC, and enroll in 15 units
(15units X$46/unit= $690) Pays for your classes
How is course placement determined?
Assessment is still available for Spring 2019 and starting F19 we will be using multiple measures

How much does a class cost?
While you are in high school the cost of the course is free, a cost savings of $161. There is only $6.50 charge for health/asb fee and the cost of the textbook

What is the difference between a degree or certificate?
Certificate requires fewer units and no general education
A degree requires a completion of 60 units including general education
What is the difference between a terminal degree and a transfer degree?
Terminal degree would be in a field that prepares you to go out and work (i.e. Auto, Welding, nursing, Office Admin Tech, Gunsmithing, etc.)
Transfer degrees prepare you to transfer to a university (i.e. psychology, sociology, business, English, history, geology, art, etc.)
If I am struggling emotionally does Lassen offer any support?

What is an AD-T degree?
A Degree with a Guarantee
CSU guarantee is that you are given priority into a CSU (not necessarily of your choice), and only 60 units to finish your Bachelors degree (if in the same discipline)
UC's, AICCU (Association of Independent CA Colleges and Univ), Governor's State University are jumping on board as well
