"On April 5, 2012, Douglas proposed.  Douglas intended to propose on an abandoned trail, but Karisa became car sick.  Douglas used his quick thinking and pretended he wanted to get a picture of the two of them at sunset, and put the camera on the bed of the pickup.  Instead of simply taking a picture of them at sunset, he walked over to Karisa, knelt and asked if she would spend the rest of her life with him.  "
