This room containing collections of books is also where we like to hang out during lunch detention, sometimes even pretending to read.

Violations of this will land you in Mr. Leverett's office with a warning or a call home. It is a set of rules about clothing and appearance in a school or place of work.
What is the dress code?
There are a few special school days when the entire student body dines together. This is what happens at the end of such special days, like today.
What is early release?
This is being delayed beyond the expected or proper time, especially to class. It means you're late!
What is tardy?
The receiving or conferring of an academic degree or diploma, this is the crowning moment in every highschooler's academic career.
What is graduation?
Examples are basketball, volleyball baseball, and the various forms of football; these emphasize teamwork, strategy, and coordination while competing against the opposition to achieve a common goal.
What are team sports?
Someone who gets enough sleep and starts work early in the day will have a successful life, but during the summertime, we won't miss having to do this each morning.
What is wake up early?
Adhering to set nutritional standards, these midday meals reduce food insecurity, promote healthy choices and lifestyles, and provide students with energy for the second half of the school day.
What is school lunch?
This is to propel something with force through the air by a movement of the arm and hand, but doing it inside the building. Don't do it in the hall!
What is throwing something in the hall?
These are football games which include flag football or touch football games between girls. Funds from ticket and concession sales typically go to the senior class, or to a dance.
What is POWDERPUFF football?
Some days they're great; other days, not so much. These are individuals whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection (not family).
What are friends?
This happens when one spends time doing something that is unnecessary or does not produce any benefit. You shouldn't do this in class, at school, or in life.
What is wating time.
Not to be confused with its slang meaning (which is a person or object constantly at one's side); this is a container in which a lunch can be kept and carried to school, work, etc.
What is a lunchbox?
This a form of student discipline aimed at keeping students in school to complete their work while being isolated from the rest of the student body. It typically requires a student to report to a designated room on the school campus other than the student's assigned classroom.
What is ISS?
This is an annual event, usually held as a fundraiser, in which the male gender of the school are eligible to team up to play volleyball against other male populated teams.
What is IRONMAN volleyball?
This is not a test, but does help teachers determine how well lessons are being understood by students. It's an opportunity for students to review class material at home and also gives parents a chance to see what is being learned in school.
What is homework?
When the teacher calls your name, expecting an answer to the question he or she just asked the class, and it startles you.
What is being called on in class when you weren't listening?
Some of the students enjoy their midday meal break earlier in the day, while some have to wait until half-past noon on a schedule, where these two "lunch" periods are grouped and labeled in this alphabetical order.
What is A lunch and B lunch?
This is when you don't show up to school for more days than are allowable absences under Texas State law.
What is truancy?
This is where hobbies and school meet; these groups are an association or organization dedicated to a particular interest or activity. Art, Debate, and Glee are some examples of these groups.
