Use the adjective "best" and the noun "men" to demonstrate this.

Adjectives describe nouns. In Latin, that means they will ned the same Case, Number, and Gender as the noun they describe.

example: best = optimus, a, um; men = viri

optimi viri (same case = nominative, gender = m, number = pl)

aedile = put on public shows (chariot racing, gladiator shows) and did public works (built or renovated buildings and roads), managed grain distribution

quaestor = managed finances for the senate
