Why did the Haitian Revolution happen?
The Haitian Revolution happened because of the class system, which was unfair especially for the black slaves. This class system was advantageous only for the white people. This class system was divided into three classes. The first class was the white people, who had much more rights than the others. The second class was consisted of multiracial people (mixed black and white). Finally, the third class was the black slaves. They had no rights and since they were born and they had to work hardly under a poor condition. Therefore, the slaves revolted to this unfair society.
