You can sit with them at lunch, help them with schoolwork, and encourage them to try new things. You don't have to be their best friend, but you can make them feel safe around you and others.

Examples of cyber bullying are insults, harassment over text, posting unwanted photos, and deep fakes. If you see these, make sure to screenshot it, and then report it to moderators and your parents.

Joe decides to confront the bully and prevents John from getting hurt any further. Who is a potential witness and a resister?

Bob is a potential witness, he feels like he should help but decides to just go home at the end of the day and forget what happened.

Joe is a resister because he directly confronted Adam to help John out.

How can you help a bully to change their ways?

You can try to be understanding, tell them why they are wrong, and help with any underlying issues that cause them to bully others (if possible). These work better if you a friend of the bully.
