They must contact PLCC if Jury Duty Leave lasts longer than 1 week

FT Employee - after 90 days
PT Employee - after 1 year
Must be out for 5 consecutive days
What are the eligibility requirements for a frontline employee to use parental leave?
Must be with PepsiCo for at least 90 days
Have a newborn, newly adopted child, or be in the process of adopting a child within the next month
What are the eligibility requirements to be able to qualify for FMLA and what are the reporting requirements?
-12 months of continuous service
-1,250 hours worked in the last 12 months
-Must call PLCC as soon as you know you need to take it and must be reported within 2 business days of the absence (intermittent leave)
How much EML are employees eligible to take?
< 5 years tenure = 6 months EML
5 or more years tenure = 12 months EML
Is a doctor's note required for an employee to RTW from an LOA?
Yes a note is required when an employee returns from an LOA
What are the eligibility criteria for LTD?
EE must have exhausted their STD and still be on approved disability status - requires updated paperwork
Lasts until EE reaches 65 years old
Who does the employee need to contact to begin the leave and what is required for the leave to be approved?
Employees must contact PLCC to open the leave claim and they will need to provide proof of birth (birth certificate)
Up to how many weeks can you receive FMLA and what can FMLA be used for?
-Up to 12 weeks of leave per rolling calendar year
-Used to care for yourself or a qualifying family member's serious health condition, birth of child/adoption, or qualifying emergency from family member's call to active duty
