Co-ed group sponsored by Window World going into its 5th season
What do the uniforms look like?
Canes Crew members sport athletic looking uniforms that help them stand out in the crowd but compliment the team's jerseys for a cohesive and defining look. When appropriate, Canes Crew members may sport a more casual warmup that will also be provided.
Time commitment of the Canes Crew
be available for 90% of all Hurricanes home games with at
least a two-hour prior to puck drop call time and stay throughout the game conclusion, including three preseason games and all playoff games. The typical season of the Canes Crew runs from August to July. Canes Crew members will also be available to work additional appearances and events.
What is the stat about Mark Jankowski (#77)?
He is the first player in NHL history to score four goals on his first four shots with a franchise (Carolina). He was acquired at the trade deadline as well. He ended the season with 8 points (all goals) in 19 games.
What were Eric Robinson's (#50) final season stats? What is his new deal?
Robinson was signed as an UFA prior to the '24-'25 season. He scored 32 points in 82 games, and penned a 4-year deal over the summer.
Canes Crew does:
assisting and executing in-game promotional activities and entertainment with an emphasis on personal touchpoints with fans
Are uniforms provided?
Yes, everything except for skates will be provided by the Carolina Hurricanes for use by the Canes Crew member but must be returned at the conclusion of the season.
Canes Crew is paid
$15 an hour. Different rate for training

Who is the Canes mascot?
The Hurricanes mascot's name is Stormy. Stormy is an Ice Hog who made his debut on October 10th, 1997. Stormy is a mischievous hog who likes to have fun. He is great with kids and adults of all ages!
What does a typical game day look like?
arrive at least two hours prior to puck drop and will primarily focus on executing in-game promotional activities. Duties include, but are not limited to, working closely with the stage manager, escorting of Olympia riders from their seat's, selecting contestants, the set up and tear down
of equipment, execution of on-ice games, flag waving and sign holding, and fan engagement and interaction as a Hurricanes brand ambassador. The Canes Crew will also be asked to work additional team-related appearances and events in the community such as watch parties.
