What is an article?
A word used to indicate whether the identity of an object is known or unknown to a reader/speaker

A time sphere to help locate readers/interlocutors in time. Also used to help define when actions occur relative to others.

A word which helps to describe a noun.

The absence or lack of a word before an indicated noun. Most used with proper nouns or those which are generally known to all with meaning bound inside the sentence.
