We're worried for הֶסַח הַדָעַת, breaking your concentration. But if you know you didn't נָגַע, touch, something טמא, impure, you don't need to go back to wash, your hands are טהור, pure

The word יאכלוהו is plural... you have to eat קרבן with מצה, and then קרבן with מרור... never together!

You can't be יסיח, talk, about something not מענין, about, the meal, until you finish your sandwich, so that both (ברכות (המוציא ואכילת מצה are תעלה, go up and count, also for the the sandwich

Why did רש"י and the רשב"ם include the reason of הידור מצוה, but not אכילת גסה?
Because מסתמא, a person would never come to אכילת גסה, but there's still reason to limit eating because of הידור מצוה

But after המוציא, drop the bottom מצה ...
You still need the פרוסה though, for לחם עני... so hold on to the top two
What's the big deal about saying זכר למקדש כהילל before eating your sandwich?
The ביאור הלכה doesn't think this called מענין הסעודה, something about your meal
Therefore... you're not allowed to say even those words until you finish your מצה, מרור, and sandwich!
