The early service uses the time before they meet. The second service has coffee after the service.

This community charity is always looking for volunteers to assist their clients as they visit the food bank, clothes closet and perform other warehouse and office duties.
Each August, they host a major school supply drive to help equip the kids in the community.

Readers rotate through the year. Currently, you are asked to read once a quarter (3 months).
You'll find art supplies, craft paper and lots of other things you may need for your project here at church. This is also where you can leave your donations of toiletries for the Gresham Women's Shelter.
What is the Resource Room?
It also serves as the office space for our money counters as they prepare the bank deposit each Monday morning.
Room 104 is usually open. Check it out.
We donate the fresh fruit , but they prepare and serve a meal for as many as 90 folks, twice a month.
Who are Kathy Kari and Lydia and David Henry?
They cook dinner on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month for the Gresham Women's Shelter.
Contact them if you would like to help them. They can always use more volunteers.
He currently serves as Chair for our Church Council. FYI Don't call it the "Ad Board". We use the "Single Board Governance" model.

These preschool youngsters are here everyday during the school year.
What is the "Head Start" program?
Our location is associated with the Mt. Hood Head Start Schools.
She represents our church as our Lay Leader.

This team makes sure the sanctuary is "dressed" according to the liturgical calendar.

What is the Prayer Shawl ministry?
They meet on the first Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
The S.O.S Meal Train is available whenever a member of our church family needs this service.
What are home delivered hot meals?
Lynn Perry coordinates this program each time there's someone who may be unable to cook for themselves. Contact her if you would like to be an on-call volunteer.
They meet on the first Saturday of the month for a hot breakfast, a devotion and a list of tasks to do around the church.
What is "Solve It Saturday" ?
This group helps us avoid having to hire someone to come in and do repairs. If you notice anything around the church that needs repair or some kind of attention, let Dave Henry know. He's a trustee.

This multi-purpose center serves the community by providing safe, spacious venues and performance spaces.
She loves to sing and she loves kids. Put the two together and you have the new children's choir leader.

This evening group meets off-site twice a month for deep conversation and a bite to eat...and maybe a cold one.

Presently, this group meets on selected Thursday nights at Elmer's on 181st.

This nation-wide ecumenical women's group meets once a month at various churches in and around the greater Gresham area. Our church is one of the founding members here in east county.
What is Church Women United?
The Eastmont unit meets on the first Friday of the month. Their next meeting is on March 1st at Trinity Lutheran Church and they will be conducting the World Day of Prayer worship service.
Our congregation gives direct financial support for this UMC Missionary.
Who is Katherine Parker?
She currently serves in Nepal.

Lynn Perry and Jerry Ford are the ones to talk to if you have an interest in volunteering for an outside job.
You don't have to be well-versed in Campanology to participate in this group. Everyone is welcome.
What is the study of bells for a hand bell choir?
Our group meets with Solveig most Sundays-- right after the 2nd service.

Every Friday from now through April 12th, these folks perform a FREE service for our neighbors.
What is AARP/Tax Aide FREE tax preparation?
This is a walk-in service; no appointments needed. The hours are 9am-2pm.
You do NOT need to be an AARP member or over 50.
He's helping would-be homeless youth find safe housing so they can concentrate on their schooling through the "Second Home" program.
