ECT (Emergency Care Technician)
Doctorate-prepared Role who assesses & develops a recommended treatment plan for movement and ambulation rehabilitation.
Physical Therapist (PT)
Daily Rounding with eyes on the patient, Review of generalized and policy Plan of Care orders, & Orders consults as needed
Attending Provider (MD & DO)
The technologist who operates the machine that uses radio waves and magnetic fields to take photographs of the insides of a patient's body
MRI Technologist

Chemistry
Is the Notification center of the Unit, Answers Calls, Manages Critical Alert and EPIC Chart Movement.
Clerical Coordinator or Unit Secretary
Master's prepared role who works to improve, regain, & develop the skills needed for patients to perform activities of daily living
Occupational Therapist (OT)
Specific training in one area of Medicine (over 10,000 hours); Highly trained and Knowledgeable on their craft; Must have an order for consultation
Consulting Provider (MD & DO, May have NP or PA)
Examples: GI, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Psychiatrists, Oncology, General Surgery., Orthopedic, Anesthesiologists, Nephrology

Ultrasound Technicians
This department processes your blood cultures
Microbiology
Consistent monitoring of telemetry patients & Notification of RN set parameters and RED alarms
Telemetry Tech or Telemetry Command
Licensed role who manages patient ventilation, performs ABGs, and assesses need for airway devices
Respiratory Therapist (RT)
•Assess patient and create a plan of care
•Either consults an Admitting Physician (& Specialty Physician if needed), or Discharges patient from ED
•Usually covers pods, Triage with rotating shifts
Emergency Room Providers (MD, DO, PA, NP)

Nuclear Medicine Technologists
This department distributes Blood Donations thru the entire hospital
Blood Bank
Manages discharge planning; & finds resources for at home care, coordination of home health, homeless navigator resources
Case Manager (RN) or Social Worker
Assessment and Management of patient's skin integrity including pressure injuries, significant incisions, and ostomies
Enterotomy Therapy Nurse (ETRN) or Wound/Ostomy Nurse
Patient's provider outside the Hospital

Techs trained to use machines with radiation called electromagnetic waves, to create pictures of the inside of your body
