What was the difference in prayer between the pharisee and the tax collector?

The pharisee was praising himself and did not see where he was a sinner (think of last week).
The tax collector was humble praying to God, asking for forgiveness confessing he was a sinner.

Why is it important to memorize scripture?
Memorizing scripture helps you fight temptation, make wise choices, and find peace during hard times.
The only weapon in the armor of God.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

What do you think this means?
Pray to God asking for what you need, continue looking for him (build you relationship with him by reading the bible and continuing to pray) and be persistent in prayer! Don't give up.
God is listening and he will answer.
