Raise your hand and wait to be called on.

Straight line with everyone facing forwards.

What should you do if you need to leave the room for any reason?
Raise your hand, ask for permission, then take the hall pass.
What do you need to do before leaving the classroom?
Ask Permission and wait for Ms. Rose's answer and take a hall pass.
What should our line SOUND like?
Our line should be SILENT.
What are some things we should REPSECT in our classroom
Respect others SPACE, IDEAS, BODIES and FEELINGS.
When is a good time to go to the bathroom or get water?
First 10 minutes of class, during group work time, if you finish your work early.
Give an example of something you may receive a dojo point for in class.
(Answers may vary. Teacher may dispense points as they see fit.)
Why is it important to stay quiet in the halls?
-So other classes can learn without being distracted.
-So you can hear directions from Ms. Rose or other teachers.
What does RESPECT mean?
-Thinking about other's feelings
-listening to what someone wants you to do (or stop doing)
-Calling people by their name
-Saying please, thank you, excuse me, sorry
What should you do if you finish your work early?
Read a book quietly or log into amplify
When can you interrupt Ms. Rose's small group?
If there is an emergency (fire, injury, sick, bullying)
What should you do if you have to tie your shoe in line?
Step to the side so others can pass, then join the line at the END
What are some things you can do to make sure you are your best every day?
Get good sleep
Come to school prepared
Ask questions!
Never give up!
What should you do if you need a pencil?
Wait until Ms. Rose calls up people who need pencils, write your name on the board and erase your name when you return the pencil.

What should you do if you see someone else struggling to follow our hallway expectations?
Give them a silent reminder, then make sure that you worry about you.
How can you be kind to yourself AND others?
**Make sure to answer both questions!**
Yourself: get good sleep, eat healthy food, tell yourself good things about you, respect yourself.
Others: include them in games, compliment others, help someone when they need it.
How should books be returned to the library?
Vertical with the binding facing out.
