The Touch Control Function is disabled
Use the Lexie app to enable Touch Control. Within the Profile page of the Lexie app, select “My hearing aids.” From here, select “Settings” to access the Touch Control settings.
Hearing Aid Positioning
Ensure hearing aids are positioned correctly in your ears to prevent leakage of sound.
Charging Case battery depleted.
Charge the rechargeable charging case.
Bluetooth not activated.
Check phone or smart device to ensure Bluetooth is active.
Adhesive strip attached to hearing aids.
Remove the adhesive strip covering the charging contacts from each hearing aid.
Phone Compatibility (first one on the list)
With Touch Control enabled, a single tap to connect to an audio stream, to pause or resume play while a streaming platform is open, might not work for all phone models.
Dome Selection
Try a different dome size. Domes that are too small or too large can cause whistling by letting sound leak out.
Adhesive strip attached to hearing aids.
Remove the adhesive strip covering the charging contacts from each hearing aid.
Hearing aids not paired with phone or smart device.
Pair your hearing aids with your phone or smart device.
Batteries depleted.
Charge hearing aids.

Hearing Aid Volume too loud (Hint: 2 solutions)
1. Lowering the volume level in the Lexie app can reduce feedback.
2. Try another preset/program.
Charging case battery depleted (Hint: In the case where the charging case does not charge the hearing aids)
Charge the rechargeable charging case.
Bluetooth connectivity issues.
Try moving at least 10 feet (3 meters) away from Wi-Fi® or other 2.4 GHz devices, like your home security camera, speakers, baby monitor, etc.
Hearing aids muted.
Use the Lexie app to unmute.
Phone compatibility (Second one on the list)
With Touch Control enabled, a single tap to connect to an audio stream, to pause or resume play while a streaming platform is open, might not work for all phone models.
Hand covering hearing aid microphones when tapping the touch control. (Hint: 2 solutions)
1. Try a larger-sized dome.
2. Use a pointed finger only to tap the touch control while the rest of your hand is in a fist.
Charging contacts dirty/damp.
Clean charging contacts on hearing aids and those inside the charging case.
Blocked dome, receiver (sound outlet) or microphones (sound inlets) - sounds not reaching your ears.
Clean dome, receiver and microphones using the cleaning brush or putty. Replace dome if unable to clear blockage.
Excessive wax in ear canal.
Consult your hearing healthcare provider, your physician, or an ear-nose-throat doctor (an ENT).
Voice prompts are disabled
Use the Lexie app to enable the Play/
Pause function for Touch Control. Within the Profile page of the Lexie app, select “My hearing aids.” From here, select “Settings” to access the Touch Control settings.
Feedback when inserting hearing aids.
Use the Lexie app to change the power-on delay. The default setting is 7 seconds, but you can extend it up to 14 seconds if needed.
Charging contacts not making contact.
Ensure the left and right hearing aids are placed correctly in the designated slot for each hearing aid in the rechargeable case.
Sound quality for medxia/music not optimized (excludes call streaming).
Use the Lexie app Media Equalizer to optimize the sound quality of your music and media by adjusting the sliders for treble, mid and bass tones. You’ll notice the changes in real-time as you adjust the sliders. To save these changes to your hearing aids, you must tap the “SAVE” button on the app screen. The Media Equalizer is designed for media and music streaming only, and both hearing buds must be connected to the Lexie app to use it.
Unable to adjust volume in the app.
Ensure that Transparency is selected in the Ambient Sound control of the Lexie app.
