What is the penalty for work submitted late?
Late work will be marked down 5% per day it is late. Quizzes cannot be made up.

What is an LLC?
Living Learning Community: Each week you will get to meet with this assigned small group of students in class.
Can you use notes on your mid-term and final exam?
Yes, but they must be your own notes that are hand-written.
What percentage of your grade is attendance and class participation?
Attendance and class participation is 10% of your grade. It is very important to attend class and be an active participant.

The Academic Center for Excellence has academic success coaches who are prepared to help students with organization, time management, study skills, and connection to other campus resources.
How do I get an absence excused?
There are no 'excused' absences. You can miss up to 4 class periods during a semester before it will start affecting your attendance grade. If you are absent for a University sanctioned event, the absence is not counted towards your 4 classes that you can miss.
Do you have to be in class to receive a grade for your LLC Activities?
Yes, you will not receive a grade for an LLC activity unless you are in class.
