A number of things we do revolve around providing and promoting the use of this. There are 63 symbols in UEB.

Stands for Braille and Audio Reading Download. It is an app that allows patrons to access audio and braille titles on their smart devices and computers. 45,789 titles were downloaded from BARD in 2022 by our patrons. And we have uploaded 165 locally produced books

A featured storybook that offers a this Edition in audio and braille that can be read as you delight in the pages of the storybook within the Youth Library.

In trying to provide patrons with more titles they want to read, a number of books are recorded with aid of these volunteers. Each year roughly 300 hours of narration is recorded

We produce braille with the help of these. Whether they are employees, certified volunteers, or other vendors we couldn't produce the amount of braille without them.

The library has two of these: Turning the Pages for library information and the IMC for educators and braille transcribers. Both are great resources for information about the library.
