Walk quietly to the steps and sit down.
How should I mark my pages in my book?
A bookmark.
Where should I put the books I'm bringing back to the library?
To the check-in desk and back on the book cart in its correct spot.
What is level zero voice?
No talking at ALL.
What is the 2 week time period for?
You are allowed to keep your book for this amount of time.
What should I bring to library with me?
Nothing, except for books you want to check in, or your library book to silent read.
Who should the book stay with while it is checked out?
YOU!

It helps keep our books neat.
What is level 1 used for?
Use this voice level when you are doing partner work.
What is renewing?
If you're not finished with your book, you would need to do this.

Use this voice level when you are speaking to the entire class.
Library computers may never be used to do this.
To play games that are NOT allowed in library.

What do you do after checking out a book?

You will need to do this if you lose or damage a book.

On the steps for the lesson/ or at the table for centers.
What should I keep my book away from?
Pets, water/food, and anything that will ruin your book.
How long can I have a book checked out for?
14 days. (2 weeks)
While I am talking, what should you be doing?
Listening, and NOT talking.
Why should I take care of the library's equipment?
So others can use it too.
