What should you bring with you to the library?
Books you are returning, books you want to renew or books you want to read.
How long are books checked out?
For a week but if you need it longer just ask the librarian to renew it.
What should we do with our hands at the library?
Keep them to ourselves

Toys, items you will be distracted by or anything your teacher has told you to leave in the classroom.
What do you do if a book you want isn’t available?
It depends :) if it’s checked out let the librarian know you want to put a hold on it. If the library doesn’t have it let the librarian know you are interested in having the book/books in the library.
How do we treat people in the library?
Same way you would treat them anywhere else. With kindness and respect.

Labeling holiday books and AR levels

Quietly and in line order with the tables cleaned up.
Where do books go when you are done with them?
Back on the shelf where they belong/came from.
What is the appropriate use for the scanner?
To check in/out books. Not for a hide and seek object or to try to scan your eyes.
Is your assigned library day the only time you can return or check out books?
