In a safe place away from pets and little brothers or sisters.
How do I know if the book is in my reading level range?
I can find the reading level on Destiny.
If I have even just 1 overdue book, can I check out another one?
No, not until you renew or return the overdue book.

What do I do if I want to ask or answer a question?
I should raise my hand and wait until i am called upon.
Why shouldn't I let other people borrow my books?
Because the book has been checked out in your name it is your responsibility.
Where do I go when I am finished checking-out my books?
You should go sit in a line at the front door of the library or find a place to sit and read quietly.
What time is the library open?
Every morning starting at 7:20 and closes at 2:15 (right before dismissal)
What will you need to do if you lose or ruin a book?
Pay for it.
What if a book falls on the floor?
You should pick it or them up and put it/them back on the shelf.
Why should we not eat or drink around our school library books?
Getting food in them can be unsafe for other students with allergies and it can ruin the book and then we won;t be able to use it.
What is the name of the computer program where I can see the books in the DES library?
Destiny
If I'm with a class and you want to check out a book, what should you do?
Put my name on a piece of paper, put it in the book and place it on the counter. Come back later to pick it up.
What should I do if I think I returned a book but the computer says I haven't?
Ask the librarian(me) to recheck the shelf.
