This document must be completed at every admission and discharge.
What is the Resident Register?
Licensing requires all direct care staff be competent in Licensing-required subjects within this time frame.

At admission, a written health care appraisal must be provided that has been completed within this time frame.

Testing for communicable diseases (TB) must be completed in this time frame for each new hire.
What is "before employment, assumption of duties, or occupancy in the home"?
If there is an accident or sudden adverse change in a resident's physical condition, the group home shall obtain needed care in this time frame.
What is IMMEDIATELY?
This is required if a mattress is going to be placed directly on the floor.
What is a Variance? (or could be allowed by Plan of Service but call Licensing Consultant first.)

The ASI Licensing Admission packet must be completed in it's entirety and includes these 4 documents that must be official BCAL forms.

An Administrator must have this many training hours (relevant to the admission policy and program statement) per year.
What is 16?
This must be recorded each time an as-needed (PRN) medication is administered.

An assistive device must be specified in the Assessment Plan, agreed upon by the Resident/designated rep and the Licensee and have authorization by a Physician. The Authorization must include these 2 pieces of information.
What is 1) the reason for the support and 2) the term of the authorization?
An integrated electrical smoke detection system (one sets off all) is required in these situations.
What is new construction, conversion, or change of category?
The place to go to clarify and assist with interpretation of a Licensing Rule.
What is the Technical Manual?
A written report of a qualifying incident must be sent to the designated rep, responsible agency and to Licensing within this time frame.

Following discharge (or death), a resident's belongings must be inventoried and ASI must notify the resident /designated rep by registered mail of the belongings; unclaimed belongings may be disposed of by ASI after this time frame following written notification.
