Should be checked daily, if the children are moving them around they should be raked each day

What should you never share with parents?
Your door code and your phone number (talk through brightwheel so there is always documentation)
What items should be out of reach?
-Loose (empty) plastic bags
-Personal items

When must children wear helmets?
While on scooter or bike (always!)

-at time of arrival in classroom

Any type of nut product
What must be covered on the walls?
-All electrical outlets *all wall outlets at PH are tamper resistant but any extension cords not in use must be covered*
-chipped paint on walls
Attendance should be taken?
Every transition in and out of the classroom
When should you know your group size?
Always! Licensing could show up at anytime and ask how many children you have

Before and after use

What does a playground sweep include?
-Check for hazards
-Ensure equipment is in good repair
What should always be brought with you outside?
Emergency bag with medications, waterbottles, and classroom phone
What is the mixed age ratio?
1:10
(unless over 20% are under 3)
When should you disinfect versus sanitize?
Disinfect: vomit, urine, feces, or blood
Sanitize: sinks, food surfaces, toys at end of day
