Confirmed on PayForce check-view if they contributed to 401k during their employment. If there are no deductions, tell employee to review all pay statements generated during their employment to confirm that they were not participating in the plan.
If you confirm employees were participating and are looking for historic information before januaray 2020, refer them to Vanguard. Advise them to provide the amazon/Vanguard plan number 093958. If employee mention that vanguard referred them to amazon, follow your teams transfer path.
