Alex Trebek was born July 22nd, 1940 into a ordinary but loving family and they all took care of each other and that's what led him to have a influential personality

Jeopardy
His most significant career milestone came in 1984 when he was chosen to host the gameshow Jeopardy. he talks a lot about the behind the scenes of the show and how he felt before filming
Cancer Diagnosis
Alex Trebek was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer in March 2019. He made the announcement himself in a video message posted on social media. He wanted his journey to be transparent and wanted to show his fans what he was experiencing.

Alex worked for CBC and because of his charming and friendly personality it made it easy to host various shows, including music programs and game shows, which laid the foundation for his future career

Before and after his cancer diagnosis he formed connected with contestants and guest stars. He also talks about loving his family and remarrying.
Moving to USA
Alex wanted to move to the United States to pursue broader opportunities in television. He wanted recognitions in American television.
Guest appearances
Alex has made a lot of guest appearances on some comedy shows and it was because he wanted to show his sense of humour and personality outside of jeopardy.
pushing through
Even with his very public health battles he found a way to still host the show and keep positive attitude. Unfortunately he was out of time and announced his retirement in 2018 hoping that someone and carry on and host the show.
