The oak tree suffers, because it does not have enough water and nutrients to share.

Fish eat Zooplankton. If the fish had less predators hunting and eating them, this is what would happen to the Zooplankton population.

This relationship is a very short one, because in order to survive a fox hunts and kills a rabbit to eat.

Starfish eat Mussels. If an oil spill wiped out the star fish population, this would probably happen to the Mussel population.

In photosynthesis, this is an input that enters through the roots.

In a food chain, this ALWAYS comes directly after the sun.

In a food web, food chains interconnect. These two food chains come from the same food web.

Sun->cactus->jerboa->hawk->mushroom

In this relationship, birds and prairie dogs both love to eat the seeds of nearby plants. Sometimes, there aren't enough for everyone.
