What is direct variation and slope intercept equation both have slope multiplied by domain (x/input). Slope intercept form has + the y intercept/ Direct variation does not because the y intercept is 0. Slope intercept form and direct variation are both linear graphs. Slope intercept form has any y intercept (except 0) and direct variation goes through the origin.
