False! You are a Junior Leader, supporting the Summer Camp Leaders. We can support the Leaders by playing and engaging with the campers, monitoring the campers, we can help prepare and set up games with the campers, and help with snack! But it is not all your job!

It's 10:30 am, a camper said they don't need sunscreen as their parents put it on before they came to club at 7:00am. Do they need to reapply?
Yes! You can inform the camper that they need to put on sunscreen again, as sunscreen can wear off. You can then offer to help them, or monitor them as they reapply!

If there is a leader outside - you can sign up and go outside/ go inside! Let a leader know!
What are some ways you can take initiative during your time at the camps?
Play a game with campers, organize a craft, ask a leader what you can do to help, help a camper, call campers by their names, ask leaders what is happening for the next part of the day and how you can help, assist in transitions, etc.
When can you use your cellphone?
During your lunch break! Or if there is a problem or emergency just let a leader know, and you can step to the side!

Sit with a camper! If no space, you can sit with one of the Leaders! LIT's should space out where they sit!
