Someone who asks questions to increase comprehension.

This is used to educate or explain something to the audience.

This person clarifies word meanings and pronunciations.
What is a Vocabulary Enricher?
A focus on areas such as multiple meanings of words(homonyms), shades of meaning, figurative language, and relationships between words (synonyms, antonyms, analogies).
What is vocabulary (Semantics)?
This is the use of words and non-verbal processes to share meaning with others.
What is expressive language?
A technique that writers use to present their ideas through reason and logic.
What is persuasive writing?
This person locates 4 sections of texts to share with the group and states the reasons for choosing the selections.
What is a Literacy Luminary?
This is a set of structural rules that govern the combination of words and phrases into sentences.
What is Grammar?
Being able to perceive subtle differences in sounds and the meanings of words.
What is auditory processing?
A form of creative writing as in fiction or nonfiction, novels, plays or poems.
What is literacy works?
This person checks for completion of assignments, evaluates participation, and helps monitor discussion for equal participation.
What is Checker?
This is focused on the smallest units of meaning within a word and the rules about how those words are formed.

This will affect the students capacity to fully engage with the needs and expectations of listening and speaking.
