What is Christmas?

The greatest celebration in our Church, this is the season where we rejoice in Jesus' Resurrection and the new life we have in Christ.
What is Easter?
This day marks the beginning of Lent and involves going to Church and being blessed with a cross of burnt palms mixed with holy oil.
What is Ash Wednesday?
This is the color of Advent and Lent.
What is purple/violet?
The season that helps us prepare for the birth of Jesus at Christmas.
What is Advent?
These are the three days of the Easter Triduum.
What are Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday?
This is the color of the Triduum, Easter, and Christmas.
What is white?
This season is a special time to live out our baptismal promises and grow closer to Jesus through prayer, fasting, and penance, which helps us prepare for the Church's greatest celebration.
What is Lent?
This day is the last day of the Easter season and marks the beginning/birthday of the Church.
What is Pentecost?
This color is used for Pentecost and Good Friday.
What is red?
This season is celebrated in two parts, between Christmas and Lent and between Easter and Advent, where we celebrate the life of Christ and learn the meaning of living as his disciples.
What is Ordinary Time?
This is what "Triduum" means in Latin.
What is "Three days"?
This is the color of Gaudete Sunday (third week of Advent) and Laetare Sunday (fourth week of Lent).
