Under what circumstances is alcohol permitted inside of residence halls?
If you are 21 or older, you are permitted to have alcohol, as long as there is no one under that age present. (Roommates are an exception)

If emergency maintenance is needed, what should you do?
Tell any RA, as soon as possible! If it isn't an emergency, you can put in maintenance requests yourself as well.

Anytime from 9pm-12am on weeknights and 9pm-2am on weekends

The first one is typically at 7pm, the last one is usually at 12am on weekdays or 2am on weekends
(9pm is also an acceptable answer, as they usually do a round before they sit desk)

Candles in any form, Incense in any form, wax warmers, scent plug-ins, extension cords, pop up bed tents, lamps with plastic shades, halogen lamps, lava lamps, any appliance with an open heating element, flags and tapestries, any kind of fuel, plug in string lights, curtains that are not CA fire code certified, any cooking equipment; no covering smoke detectors, no hanging things above the fire line, not too many posters, no hanging anything from your ceiling
