-Use the three strike system! Recording every incident -Ask them to leave whether it is for the morning or for a day. Make sure to walk them home and explain to the parents

1. Call the police 2. Call Maddie 3. DO NOT ENTER until either Maddie or Police arrive

What is the different betwen petty cash and supply money?
Petty Cash- is for spontaqneous purchases for when you need supplies to run an unplanned activity Supply Money- is for requested supplies that go on your supply requistion form.

You have a child tell you that they have bugs that bite them at night and their legs are really itchy! What should you do?
1. Call Maddie 2. Have one staff walk the child home and talk to the parent/Guardian 3. If it is confirmed that there are bed bugs present there is a procedure through LMHC that helps it be treated ASAP

There has been head lice found in camp. YAY! A parent refuses to let you check their child for head lice despite them checking on the registration form that it is okay! What should you do?
1. You can show them registration form and explain the policy to them again explaining why we have to check 2. Explain that their child will not be allowed at camp until they are checked! 3. Give them Maddie's Office number if they are still upset!

1. Speak to the child and see why they are not attending 2. If not for reasonable reasons tell them that they will no longer be on the team ** You have to take their jersey and shorts back 3. Have the next person on the wait list join.

No! The ratio for on site is 1:10. You will have to ask the children to leave and direct them to the free city camps if applicable.

Ask them to stop talking about it in front of the group Speak to them privately and try and gather info. Call Maddie and she will connect you to the CRW.

You and the camp are going on a fun off site trip! You have recieved your permission forms and start walking to your desitation. There is a child from camp who is not apart of the group and is following you! What do you do?
Stop the child and ask if they have permission to be leaving the site! If no or if you are suspicious have one staff walk back with the child and make sure that there parent/guardian knows where they are!

What is our duty to report as camp counsellors?
if we suspect that any abuse or neglect is happening we need to call CAS. It is better to be safe than sorry!

You arrive to camp Thursday morning and see that the unit has not been clean properly even though the cleaners were suppose to come on Wednesday! What should you do?
Call Maddie right away! She will speak to the cleaning company or the other programs running within the unit
