So we were at the dres rehearsal
I was sitting by "Shnayder" and "Amarru", in front of "Neo" and not far from "Disillicon". Legacy went up, but I noticed Neo to be of lower energy than usual.
I know Neo is generally a "low-energy" sort of person, but he was oddly still during 12DoCC, an energetic song requiring acting. I don't know if this was a general fault of his, as I didn't pay much attention to him during the final performance.
The show choir had gone to some trip to HMS to perform for their choir. When we got to choir, they were returning- getting changed and all. I saw most of the Show Choir kids (like "Neo" and "Sae")
Neo seemed very upset about something and looked as if he'd been crying. Come to think of it, he was just leaving the show choir performance- did he mess up there instead?
So Neo came back and seemed somewhat off, still. Later, I noticed Amarru offering him some chips- no, not offering, beseeching he take at least one. She offered to get a bottle of water, too, but Neo declined.
I figured he didn't have any food and I was considering offering him some (well, giving it to Amarru to give to him), but he said he had soup in his bag. Soup is. I suddenly felt sorry for him.
I guess this wasn't completely related. Cos Neo seemed all happy when I saw him leave Niaozhen after the closing night performance, and it wouldn't be that likely for him to only worry about his performance a few days after. And he could've spoken to Sae beforehand
So I guess none of what happened that day had to do with Niaozhen, but with the Show Choir preview performance. Guess I'd better update the hidden names document?
Later, when Shnayder had left, I heard Neo confess (I think to Amarru) that he'd been missing all his solos at Villagers. I figured, "where is Shnayder when needed?"
Interestingly, Neo's character only had one solo singing part in the entire musical. He had a good amount of lines, though. I wonder what he was so worried about?
Although I understand his worry. I admit, he was not one of the stronger actors- but this must have made it more stressful.
Did he feel like he couldn't compare to the other boys in their acting and singing talents?
