What is a Chef
I direct traffic in areas where people walk across a busy road. I work outside. I keep people safe. I usually have a stop sign in my hand and a whistle around my neck.
What is a Crossing Guard?
I use a fishing pole. I work on a boat or pier. I like being outside.
What is a Fisherman?
I like law and public speaking. I work in a courtroom. I help people solve problems and prove things. I try and prove people either innocent or guilty.
What is a Lawyer?
I fly to the moon in a rocket. I train for many years to do this. I like planets
What is an Astronaut?
I help people who are sick. I work in a hospital, clinic, or office. I like helping people get better. My job requires at least 2 years of training.....not as much as a doctor.
What is a Nurse
I work in nature. I keep animals and the woods safe. I make sure people are following all the laws of nature. I like being outside.
What is a Forest Ranger?
I grow crops and raise animals. I like using my hands and using farm equipment. I work on a farm.
What is a Farmer?
I like to help sick people. I make sick people feel better. I work in a hospital or clinic or office. I had to go to school for many years before I could do my job.
What is a Doctor?
I bake delicious food that is sweet and is sometimes not good for our teeth. I provide all kinds of baked goods to people for special occasions.
What is a Baker?
I help students learn. I care about children's futures. I work in a school.
What is a teacher?
May job duties include the following:
Feeding the animals, Administering medication, cleaning and maintaining the animal's enclosure, reporting unusual changes in behavior to managers or veterinarians, assisting with veterinary procedures and keeping detailed records on each animal.
What is ZooKeeper?
I rescue people in danger. I work in emergencies. I put out fires.
What is a Fireman?
I keep our community safe. I protect people from harm. I work around the community.
What is a Policeman?
I arrange flowers for bouquets. People buy these arrangements to show how much they love each other or just to cheer them up.
What is a Florist?
I work in a restaurant. I bring people their food and drinks. I take orders, and collect and return money.
What is a Waiter/Waitress?
I like animals. I help sick animals get better. I work in a hospital, clinic, or office
What is a Veterinarian?
I fix cars. I work in an auto shop. I like using tools and working with my hands.
What is a Mechanic?
I solve mysteries and look for clues. I like finding facts. I help people find other people.
What is a Detective?
I work in an office. I buy and sell things and make deals with people and companies. I like using computers and using my office skills. I usually wear a suit.
What is a Business Man/Woman?
I help people plan trips or vacations. I know about many places. I like organizing and planning. I like seeing that people get to visit places in the world that they have never seen.
What is a Travel Agent?
I deliver letters and packages. I work in the community. I visit many homes every day.
What is a Mailman?
I work near water. I am a great swimmer. I keep others safe. You often see me at your swimming pool.
What is a Lifeguard?
I drive a big truck. I help people get rid of things they don't need. I work in the community.
What is a Trash Collector?
I work outside and this can be a dangerous job if I don't concentrate on what I'm doing. I drill into the ground and bring up oil/gases for us to use.
