Can you take photos of camp activities with your phone?
No, there are professional photographers to take photos. The policy says that you cannot take photos of campers.
If you are at the pool with your group, what can you do?
Sit on the side near the water during instructional swim.
Ask if the lifeguards want help.
Swim with campers during free swim.
Play a game with campers off to the side if they are not interested in swimming.
List 2 points under the basic guidelines for what to wear.
1. Clothes that allow you to be active.
2. Sneakers or sandals with back straps and toe protection.

All phones need to be put away during the camp day. Inform us if you need to make a call.

What are 2 elements of the boundaries policy with campers?
You cannot be alone with campers.
You cannot put sunscreen on campers.
You cannot help campers change.
You cannot take them to the bathroom alone.

To process accomplishments and challenges to be able to grow as a leader.
What does the social media policy say about friending campers?
Do not initiate or accept social media friend requests with current or former campers.
What do you do if a camper asks you to take him to the nurse because they have a headache?
Speak to a counselor in the group and let them know. You cannot go alone with the camper. You can offer to go with the camper and counselor to prevent the counselor from being alone with the camper. Rules of 3!
What are 2 expectations we have of you?
Be with their groups during assigned times.
Be sensitive and caring to campers.
Participate enthusiastically in all group activities.
Assist counselors by having a positive attitude and taking initiative.
Encourage campers to participate in all activities.
Learn the names of all campers in the group.
Try to help the shy/anxious campers.
Follow instructions from counselors and staff.
Ask for help and advice when unsure about what to do.
Reflect upon your experience and what you’ve learned/are learning.
