In terms of refill what is the "target"?

Why is it important?

How often should it be set?

The target is the summary of what product is on the floor and in BOH and tells us when to pull more product to the floor. It provides us an indication of how high refill is. The more accurate the target is = the better an idea we have of how high refill is. ie. if the target is set when the floor is very lean, the refill report may appear lower than it actually is since we will need to pull more product than the report is calling for to ensure the floor is fully stocked with correct size runs.

What do you do when you find a product on the floor without a WWMT hangtag?

use your BBR to find the product SKU number, write this number on a piece of paper, roll up the product and attach the piece of paper with an elastic and place it in the "not-quite" drawer behind cash. Please add your initials so we know who to ask if we have questions.

When is the appropriate time to use open SKU numbers at the til (e.g., 3704880)?

Demonstrate/explain how to pin a hem on pants

Fold up the LEFT leg on the OUTSIDE of the pant to where the guest would like the pants hemmed. Place the pin between the bottom edge of the pant and the edge that is folded upward. 

**ideally place the pin in a seam although this might not always be possible**

Why is it important to immediately 'identify' a product as damaged?

If the product is not moved to the damaged section within our inventory, guests are still able to purchase this product online (SFS, BOPIS) or in-store. In other words, this product remains in our inventory as if it is a brand-new, undamaged garment.

A guest wants their pants hemmed but would like them shipped to their house in Penticton upon completion. Explain how/where to collect their shipping information.

Pin and complete all hemming procedures as normal but write the guest's address in the Notes section in the hemming order.

In IDcloud what do you need to do when changing the products on a mannequin?

Product coming off of the mannequin: Grab the correct tag from the display binder, release the status of the tag using the identify feature, move tag to floor, check availability of that product, and put away in the correct home (floor or destock to BOH).

Product going onto the mannequin: Grab your product from BOH, remove the tag from the product, move the tag to "on display" using the identify feature, put the tag into the correct baggie in the display binder.

When can a "move" NOT be completed in the BOH? Why?

When there are inventory boxes (REPLEN, ALLOC F, ALLOC B) sitting by the back door. 

WHY: if the inventory product is picked up during a move BEFORE being received into our inventory, it will be in an inaccessible section of our inventory. 

*Best Practice: if you have to move something to the BOH, take the ID Cloud wand and the product you are needing to move into the office or into men's pants. Make sure you are only picking up the specific product that you have in your hand.

A guest comes to pick up their hemming order. What 3 things must you do before handing the guest their order?

1) Log into your BBR and find the guest's order. Show your floor leader that you have completed the pick up by either pressing: 

a) "Pick Up | Government ID verified" OR 

b) "Pick Up | Proof of confirmation email"

2) Pull the QR code sticker off of the bag.

3) Remove the hemming slip from the inside of the bag.

In IDcloud, what do you need to do when processing a return?

1. Check availability.

2. Move to backroom and destock if needed.

Explain the process, start to finish, of how to destock a product from the floor.

1. Take the product off the floor and get "BOH ready". ie. taking a women's top off of the floor brown wooden hangers and moving the top to a white BOH hanger.

2. "Move" the product to backroom using the IDcloud wand. Remember to be far enough away from unopened replen/alloc boxes.

3. Put the product away in the CORRECT home.

Scenario: A guest comes up to cash with a pair of Wunder Unders (we no longer make or sell Wunder Unders and all colours/styles scan at a MD price of $69) to complete a return. They do not have a receipt but the hang tag is still attached with no MD sticker. How would you complete this transaction?

1) Ask the guest if they have an email or phone number on file. 

2) Educate the guest that we no longer make the Wunder Under franchise. 

3) Because we they do not have a receipt we must honour the MD price of $69 which must be placed on a giftcard.

What 5 things must you do before dropping your new hemming order in the hemming bin?

1) pin the garment where the guest wants it hemmed.

 ***Please pin EVERY SINGLE GARMENT even if they are the same (i.e., have the guest try on each product, even men's pants with the fixed inseams- 32", 34"). This makes the process easier for our seamstress' 


2) Have the guest fill out the hemming information on your BBR and explain the hemming policies (e.g., the product must be clean, and if not picked up within 6 months it will be sent to a waste-to-energy facility or recycled.


3) place a QR code sticker on your garment and scan it to assign the hemming/guest information to that specific product.


4) print and attach your hemming slip to the garment with a safety pin.


5) 'Assign' the garment to 'Hemming' with the wand using the 'Identify' function in the ID Cloud app and cut through the RFID "brain" of the hangtag.

What is the "box tracker" and what does it do?

The box tracker is an excel document that provides us an idea of how many boxes and units of replen and/or Alloc that we will receive each day.

We can use this information the organize BOH in a way that supports changing inventory levels and schedule staff accordingly depending on the number of boxes and units that will need to be received each night.
