MRS supports manufacturers’ compliance with the 340B statute and CMP final rule, by facilitating streamlined and efficient 340B refunds to covered entities. CRS supports covered entities’ compliance with the 340B statute, by facilitating 340B repayments to manufacturers.
MRS primarily uses wholesaler or distributor credits to process refunds from manufacturers to covered entities. Over 90% of MRS refunds are processed via this method. Distributor credit is preferred by covered entities as the refunds can be applied to their next purchase through their distributor. MRS can also refund covered entities using ACH or check.
