What voice level should you use in the library?
Level 0 when Mrs. Montgomerie or your teacher are talking. Level 1 or 2 when you can talk to each other.

On the counter under the white board.

No

Fiction and Non-Fiction
What should I not be doing in the library?
Eating, drinking, running, yelling, throwing things, being disrespectful to others, sitting on tops of tables, leaning back in your chair
How many books can you check out?
Your grade level, up to 3 or more books with the librarian's permission.
What do you do when you come in the library with your class?
Put your book in the return bin, and sit quietly on the carpet.
Where do you keep your hands when you are sitting on the floor or the tables?
In your lap or calmly on the table
Would you find a book about planet facts in Fiction or in Nonfiction?

At the front display, or in the Recently Added section of the library catalogue.
When is the library open to students?
During our class library time, before school after 8:45, after school until 3:15, all recesses, and Monday and Wednesdays at lunch.
What do you do if you're not finished with your book by the time your class comes to the library?
Your library book(s) can be borrowed for up to two weeks, but you may renew them as many times as you need in order to finish them, just ask Mrs. Montgomerie.
Can I get books out of the return bin when we are checking out books?
Yes, but make sure you ask Mrs. Montgomerie first
