What is a shelf marker for?
Keeping the book's place on the shelf so the shelf's stay organized and neat.
What should your voice level be when we have an emergency drill?
Where should I sit?
At your assigned table. Always.
Why should I not let other people borrow my books?
The book is checked out to you and it is your responsibility.
What should you do if you find books in the wrong place?
Non-fiction books
Should you run, yell, or do gymnastics in the library?
No. Save it for the gym.
What should I keep my books away from?
Pets, small children, water and food.
What should you have with you when you check out your books?
Your old books that you are checking in and your new books that you are checking out.
You will hand me the old ones first and then the new ones.
How are books in the library ordered?
ABC order
Where should I put my books when I come to the library?
Take them to your seat and read until class starts. Then they will go under your chair until check out.
What should I do if my books gets damaged or lost?
Tell the librarian first. You may have to pay for it, or it might be able to be repaired.
What can I do after checking out books?
1. Read silently at the beanbags or chairs
2. Quietly, do an activity that is out on the tables. (This will not start until after horse show break.)
