What is Thymus?
Contains lymphoid tissue that can destroy bacteria before it passes through the intestine wall during absorption.
What is the appendix?
Swollen lymph nodes which is caused by infection
What is lymphadenopathy?
Network of capillaries and a large network of tubes throughout the body that transport lymph away from tissues.
What is lymphatic vessels?
Trap pathogens from food and air. Also body's first line of defense against foreign organisms

A blockage (scar tissue) in the lymphatic system created by damaged lymph vessels/nodes.
What is lymphedema?
Lymphatic vessels empty lymph into blank.

A network of tissues that purge the body of toxins/waste and unwanted materials. The main function is to transport lymph back into the circulatory system
