Last night was scary. We were in the underground tunnel all night. They stop the trains when the planes come over so people can hide there. There were fifteen planes last night. There were hundreds of people with us. It was noisy, but we were safe. I was worried about our house, but it was still there in the morning!
Lunch wasn’t very nice today. There wasn’t any meat, and the vegetables were old. Mom’s a good cook, but we can’t buy much food. I can’t remember the last time there were bananas in our house.
