Macbeth feels immortal because of the last prophecies he is given by the witches. In the end he is killed by Macduff and his head is put on a stick to threaten other future traitors.
Macbeth was blended by his ambition and believed in what he wanted to believe. He was betrayed by the witches who mainpulated him to want more than he was supposed to get.
