In late January of this year, I broke my leg. This happened a few days before my very first gig for the Ateneo Musicians' Pool, a gig at Maynila Café along Katipunan Avenue.
I, along with my bandmates were assigned the Folk genre to perform, and we called ourselves the Common Folk. In total, we had five band members performing. A drummer, a bassist, a guitarist, and two lead singers. We performed four songs, one of which was Soldier, Poet, King.
