Nancy story time: "The day had come when Mad had to move from her Etobicoke apartment back to Aurora in preparation for a flight later that day to Tunisia. Her plan, albeit very last minute and IMO not very well thought out... was to pack up her things, load up her Acura and with my help, schlep all of her belongings to Aurora. Her flight was to leave later that evening and she had to leave for the airport around 7 pm.
Many attempts to get a hold of her that day to find out where she was in all of her preparation resulted in unanswered texts and all calls going directly to voicemail.
We went to her apartment and didn't see her car in the driveway. Eventually, we knocked on the door of the landlady and asked if Mad was home. To our surprise, the lady let us into Mad's basement apartment.
In we went, flicked on the bedroom light as we called out her name. And you know what we found!!! Two pairs of feet poking out from under the duvet. Mad was sound asleep with a bedmate."
