Materials that have the ability to become magnetized. These materials have atoms that can be made to spin in the same direction. The groups of atoms that are aligned in the same direction are known as domains.

What is magnetite?
A mineral that is naturally occurring. Also known as Lodestone, which is clusters of the mineral magnetite, it will attract ferromagnetic materials naturally.
What does the rod do inside the generator?
It spins inside of a cylinder of coiled copper wire and stirs up electrical current in the wires and transforms the mechanical energy into electrical energy.
